hp has essentially had 2 types of connector for about 10 years. The older 7.4 mm plug and the newer 4.7 mm plug. On the mentioned power supply I recognise the 4.7 mm plug, which is compatible with newer devices. The X360 series cannot have a 7.4 mm socket because of its flat design, so it has the 4.7 mm socket. The power supply unit should also be compatible with the X360 series due to its size.

I have this power supply working with an HP Elitebook 850 G5, i.e. I cannot answer the question for an HP 250 G8. The official HP websites list the devices with which this power supply works. Alternatively, you can buy a third-party universal power supply with various adapter plugs. Such power supplies usually cost twice as much.

Hello Niking. This power supply is not intended for a Montior. You are looking for this power supply https://www.ebay.com/itm/401332219195 . If you look at the back of your power supply, you should see the product code. You can use this to search online for the original power supply and then buy it. Digitec may also have this or an alternative, but you will have to contact Digitec support. Jasine Said

If you don't contact customer service, nothing will happen. And "a question about the product" is not customer service. It is (unfortunately) normal for Digitec to make such mistakes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to deliver electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge. I can't say, this one has a 4.5 mm plug, power etc. usually fit many HP models. usually fit many HP models. Plug size is important in my opinion. The old plugs still had still had a ø of approx. 7 mm. Ask the manufacturer or Digitec directly...

This is sometimes common practice, as the adapters are often used to replace a broken power supply unit and thus no (new) power cable is needed. Enclosed is a suitable cable: Power cable 250V / 2.5A (3-pole type J, C5, 3m, connection cable)
