Yes, Playstation 3 and Beamer can be connected to this set. Unfortunately, i cannot give you any advice on which beamer to recommend. Please research a little bit yourself on what features you need and actually want, as there's just too many to recommend you just 1 product. Also consider price and overall value. (Google: Best Projectors) ChromeCast is not built-in. But if you have a ChromeCast adapter, you can also connect it to this set.
The system can conjure up a breathtaking 4K on the UHD TV. This makes it possible to play 4K BluRays.

The manufacturer's data sheet specifies the following HDMI version: HDMI version: 1.4b with 3D and 30/36-bit Deep Color
I also have a TV without HDMI ARC but with optical out. I then connected an optical Toslink from the TV to the BDS and set the "External speakers" and the BDS receiver to Aux - Optical In 1 in the TV settings.
