Questions about Hannspree HT248PPB

I had the screen on the Macbook, which works without problems. But I never used the touch function. Don't know if that would have worked. I don't know about the Ipad. But since the touch function only works with an additional usb cable, I don't think it would work with the ipad... you would have to be able to connect a hdmi cable and a usb cable. And i don't think apple supports it. But just as an extra screen it will work. But i sold it again because the resolution is rather bad compared to the macbook.... It bothered me a lot.
