Unfortunately, we cannot obtain the Google Daydream View 2 at the moment. According to our supplier, it is sold out everywhere and even Google in the USA has nothing in stock. It may well be that there will soon be a successor to it and that there is therefore nothing left on the market -> but this is only a guess by our supplier.
As far as I know, Samsung is blocking the use of Daydream in favour of its proprietary headset. I guess there's a way to unlock it, but I don't know how.
First, they test you to see if they can download and launch the app. Unfortunately, I can't say anything more about it. Except that it didn't work for me with non-compatible devices.

Since the iPhones are Google Cardboard compatible, you can already use the Daydream, but only in a very limited way, which is the reason why I would advise against buying it with the intention to use it with an iPhone X. The remote is not usable, as far as I could find out from a quick search. And that is actually too big a limitation. The glasses themselves only contain the optics and no electronics, so it doesn't matter which Dayview you use. The newer ones are nicer and a bit more comfortable than these. In the end, the remote is the reason to choose a Dayview in the first place, because with it you can take halfway reasonable control. Still a long way from Oculus Rift or HTC Vive with controllers for both hands. "Now that Samsung is on board with Daydream, the View's biggest limitation is a lack of iOS support. Apple's high-end iPhone X uses VR-friendly OLED displays, but don't expect to ever use one with a Daydream View. Google supports basic Cardboard apps on iOS, but Bavor says it couldn't optimise the iPhone for Daydream without the low-level system software access it has in Android, and that it would take too much work to re-create the entire Google VR service library for iOS. "It's not in the cards at all for now," he says." If you have another source that promises full compatibility in the meantime, it would be interesting to post the link here. Otherwise, perhaps flirt more with the Oculus Rift Go: Oculus Go 32GB + Carrying Case (in action), or the 64GB version Oculus Go 64GB.
Officially it is compatible with: - Google Pixels - Google Pixels - Moto Z Droid - Moto Z - Moto Z Force Droid - Mate 9 Pro Pro - Axon 7 (2nd gene) - ZenFone AR I tested it and it's also compatible with Google Pixel 2, but for the others it's trickier. A good idea is to check if the Daydream app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.vr.home&hl=en&rdid=com.google.android.vr.home) is compatible with your phones.

Not according to the official Daydream site ! Resolution is too low, so it would be too pixelated. In terms of performance, it has too little power. It works with the Snapdragon 820 processor. I have a Motorola Moto Z so it's an incomparable experience. Hope could help. Greetings

Works great for me with Pixel 2 XL, so it should work with Pixel 2 too.
Unfortunately we don't have any exact info on this at the moment :(

You only have a band around the head above the ears. Normal headphones and inears do not cause any problems. The AUX input on the phone is also easily accessible.

You just need to install the Daydream app and Google VR Services. If you can do that, it should work. However, I wouldn't recommend it because it already gets extremely hot on the Pixel.
