We work with daily prices, which can be influenced by various factors such as purchasing conditions, stock levels and supply and demand. It is therefore possible that different models may differ in price.

Since the watch is waterproof, it is safe to wear while canoeing. As far as I know, Garmin does not have a "canoeing" function. But there are apps you can install yourself, and apparently there are canoeing apps like this one: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/cff41f71-ab9e-4d43-a0b6-4638079c3d66. So there is nothing to stop me using the watch for canoeing.

Without sports activity, no it does not seem normal. With bluetooth, sensors (cardio /oxymeter), a simple display and without activity, mine lasts 10 days. Afterwards, depending on the activity/setting and the screen configuration, it drops more quickly. The complexity or simplicity of the basic display has a direct influence on consumption.

You just have to look at the right offer. Garmin Forerunner 245 (42.30 mm, fibre reinforced polymer) The Digitec sorting algorithm is a bit strange. But have you ever thought that a normal Swiss dealer would rather not make a price that ends at 57 centimes? Therefore also note the following https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/articles/360012370979-Angebote-von-Drittanbietern

I regret that Garmin no longer has heart rate belt solutions in its range, precisely because of this. I notice that jumps in heart rate are readily displayed on the first kilometre, especially a number that is too high. This coincides with my internet experience. Later it seems to be reasonably accurate. What I just noticed these days, and need to verify further: I see a clearly too high HR for the effort. I therefore tighten the wristband and the HR is reduced to a plausible number.

Hi FHM Thank you for your question. I recommend this video on Garmin Running Power: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzH6dZAVy4E. Polar has also had a watch since last year that measures this value, which is mainly known from cycling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ndpqbDFUM8. If you want to collect as much data as possible, the additional info of Running Power might be interesting for you, otherwise the flagships of the sports watch and smartwatch providers already offer a wealth of information for data lovers and those who want to know more :) I hope this helps you with your decision. Greetings Darius
