My OTO socket is (unfortunately) located in the fuse and distribution box in my flat. There are only RJ45 sockets in the rooms, which have to be patched accordingly in the box. I would therefore have to place the Zyxel router in the fuse and distribution box. The WLAN signal would therefore probably be correspondingly weak. Is there also a kind of "WLAN box" for the router (as with the competition)? Or how do I solve this WLAN problem? Thank you in advance for your expertise and assessment.

You mentioned in your original post, that you will offer lower speeds around summer (1 Gbps, 5 Gbps). 1) Will it be possible to downgrade in case someone buys now the 10 Gbps? 2) How easy will this process be? I imagine that since there is no minimum period, this should happen immediately by the end of the month without any further complications. Is this correct? 3) Any ideas on the pricing for the lower speeds? 4) Other routers also possible in the future? Thanks!

Does anyone know what happens to the TV when you switch to Digitec's fibre optic plan? Until now we had Internet + TV via coaxial cable (with WWZ). So TV directly in the socket without a TV box or anything like that. If I now switch to a fibre optic subscription from Digitec, can I continue to watch TV or do I have to pay the last mile for fibre optic and coax? The fibre optic connection would run via WWZ.

I would like to enable access to a PI5 via ssh from the Internet (I know that this is questionable in terms of security, but still ...). With the ACL rules in the Zyxel AX7501-B1, however, you always have to specify a source IP, which is unfortunately not possible with WAN to LAN rules. There is no possibility to enter "any" or 0.0.0.0/0, as these (common) terms are not accepted. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Is there a real technical support at Galaxus on the product and how to contact them ?

I have the Zyxel AX-7501. I want to use my Pi-hole as DNS, but unfortunately the manual configuration of DNS is disabled in the DHCP settings (/HomeNetworking/DHCP-DNS Values), only DNS Proxy or ISP Values are available. It annoys me to have to use a 3rd party DHCP while it is supported on the router with a non restricted firmware. Any chance to have this setting made available to us soon ?

The house connection with fibre optics (Swisscom) already exists. Now the home connection and the OTO connection box are still missing. As your provider is Sunrise, I assume that they will also install the home connection? Is this correct and free of charge? Just like Swisscom does. Or do I have to expect costs?

At Sunrise, I got 2 WiFi amplifiers for free as a boost. To have optimum reception on all 3 floors. Do you also offer this service? If not... which amplifiers are recommended?

I'm experiencing a complete failure of Wake-on-LAN functionality with the provided Zyxel AX7501-B1 router. My Fedora linux desktop (wired, static IP confirmed) cannot be woken by my Raspberry Pi (WiFi, static IP confirmed), maybe due to some isolation protocol that I cannot find in the router settings. I know that everything normally works fine because wake-on-lan worked completely fine with my previous router. Key Issues I Identified so far with this router: 1. Router's built-in WoL tool reports "Send Wake up packet success" but generates malformed UDP packets with invalid checksums 2. WiFi devices unable to send WoL packets to wired devices at all despite setting fixed IP address for the DHCP reservation 3. When the desktop sleeps, it disappears from the router's wired connections display, likely due to some ARP table issue with the router which I don't fully understand. Technical Evidence: tcpdump analysis shows the router generates corrupted WoL packets: [total length 33280 > length 130] (invalid) with bad cksum a4f9. This confirms the router's WoL implementation is fundamentally broken at the firmware level. Can Galaxus provide a firmware update to fix the WoL packet generation and WiFi isolation issues, or offer bridge mode to allow use of a secondary router for proper network functionality?

I have taken out the corresponding plan and am achieving just 0.0081 Gbps of the promised 10 Gbps. With my previous plan from Swisscom, the performance was much better. What could be the reason for this?
