Hello mkrieg80 I have just phoned AVM in Berlin and they told me that the only difference is the cables supplied, as the sockets are supposed to be different in Germany. Otherwise everything is the same.

If it's a MacBook/iMac with Catalina, you can complain to Apple! They have old components in use! Almost nothing runs over the WLAN, my MacBook Air from 2013 is at least 5 times faster!

Yes, I have used it several times. The DSL modem of the DE version only works on CH ISDN connections (which practically no longer exist), but as long as the WAN port is used for Internet, there are no restrictions on its use, even behind a cable modem, for example.

Both versions work with the Connect Box from UPC. I buy the German box because it gets updates much more regularly (compared to the CH box).
