Hello, I have this module 6a and a Cat7 installation cable from Hama, the instructions refer to a separate earthing wire, my Cat7 and also another duplex cable do not have this wire, how should I proceed here?

I would take one strand (approx. 5 strands) of the shielding braid and shorten the rest according to the instructions. These earthing wires are between the foil and the braided screen, i.e. all earth.

Can this connection module also be used in patch panels? I already have some permanently installed in junction boxes by the electrician and would now like to convert them into a patch panel. For example https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/roline-19-patchpanel-server-zubehoer-6190069

I don't know if that works. In any case, they did not fit into my existing surface-mounted network socket (4 connections installed by an electrician). Therefore, it could well be that this connection module is intended for patch panels.
