Yes, a special usb C that has such small clips on the plug that it can be inserted nicely, I can't charge it with my other standard usb c cables!

I have had it on the charging cable for several hours, the button still lights up red, according to the instructions it should turn orange or white when it is fully charged, does anyone have any experience?

It's the same for me. I then simply unplugged the keyboard. Once it stopped lighting up, I assumed that it was fully charged, which it probably was. But it takes a very long time...
