Since everyone here is asking if it's the new version: Ordered on 18 November - it's the new version, built August 2023, red silicone sock on the hotend (i.e. new hotend), modified packaging (more foam). I didn't disassemble the extruder for testing, the other features are enough for me.

Hello.....why does the printer here on sale at Bastelgarage suddenly cost 200 francs more than on their website????? That borders on fraud

Hello! if I buy this product today (17/11/2023), will I get the original model or the updated version with the parts (hotend , extruder, etc.)...? thanks for your help.

there are no upgrades, because unlike other hotends and extruders, the mechanism is not accessible apart from the wire. This is a definite advantage, a turnkey system that doesn't require any fiddling or tinkering. In short, a very well-designed system from my point of view. On the other hand, I'm a bit more circumspect when it comes to using wired systems other than the standard (abs ect). In short, I'd recommend this printer if you want a turnkey system that's quick and well designed. If you want a printer that can be configured, then you're better off with another printer :)

Digitec cannot tell. I tried the same thing 6 weeks ago and I received the old version so I returned it. It's still very risky....

Is the K1 updated by Creality being sold or does the stock still consist of models with the initial defects? (Hotend heating issues etc.)

Mine was defekt, so Digitec sent me a new one on Monday the 09.10.2023. The new one still had the same, janky hot-end, but the extruder looked like the new type with the extra yellow plastic gasket in between. You can E-mail them directly at event@creality.com That is the address I used for the kit discount confirmation. You can also call Creality directly at +86 755 85234565 They spoke with very strong Chinese accents, though. I hope this helps you MfG Kenny

Hello Together If I order the printer today does it already come with the Vanguard K1 Power Boost Kit Plus or do I have to order it separately?

The first one had a visibly bent Hot-end and defect screen cable connector. I couln't use it. Digitec took it back and delivered a new one the next day. I will unpack it this evening. The $2.95 Vanguard K1 Power Boost Kit Plus came in the mail after only a week. If the new printer is in good working order. I wil install the new Hot-end, extruder, and Ai Camera. I will also write a new post if everything works out.
