Thank you for pointing this out, I will pass this on internally to the relevant department and hope that it will be corrected promptly.
There is a cable with 2 x 8 pin PCIe (with different codings) connectors and a 12 pin connector at the other end that very likely is a 12VHPWR connector. According to Corsair specs the ATX 12V is version 3.0.
Exactly, the manufacturer's specifications are correct.🫡
10 % power loss would be 150w = 54 degrees Celcius? Components probably approved to over 100 degrees anyway. The fan speed of the existing model is exactly the same as described in your question - quieter without iCue profile than with. Maybe there will be a software update at some point :)
Picture 9 is the one that shows the differnce, the 2023 model comes with this cable Corsair CP-8920284
The USB-C port is connected to an internal USB port on the motherboard to read out the sensor data of the power supply unit and display it in ICue.
You probably refer to Corsair Premium Pro-Kit Typ 4 Gen 4 cable set (?). This should work. The original cables for HX1500i are indeed on the poorer side. I replaced one from an AX1200i.
Yes, that was a mistake, thank you very much for pointing this out. We could already fix it and now also this product has 10 years warranty.
