I used the dock for some time with an M2 MacBook and a Samsung G9 (5120 x 1440 / 240Hz), connected via Display Port. The screen was recognised without any problems and could be operated at full resolution and frame rate.
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
Unfortunately, we can only offer this price at the moment, but we hope that other conditions will be possible in the near future.
We currently do not have the product in stock and obtain it from our supplier on request/after an order has been placed. The latest updates indicate possible availability problems/delays, so we have had to take the product offline again for the time being and are no longer accepting new orders.
I was able to do a search and unfortunately the model you want is not in the range. I have already forwarded an enquiry to our purchasing department and, if successful, it will be visible in the shop shortly. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee success.
The product can control up to two monitors simultaneously, either a single monitor at up to 8K or two monitors at up to 6K at 60 Hz. It has one DisplayPort 1.4 and two Thunderbolt 4 ports for monitors. The three USB-C ports are for data only and do not support monitor output.
As the three portable Dell P1424H monitors only have USB-C ports and the dock only offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports for monitors, not all three monitors can be operated simultaneously via the dock. A maximum of two monitors can be connected via the Thunderbolt 4 ports, the third monitor could not be recognised directly as a display.
To summarise: The dock supports a maximum of two external monitors at the same time, therefore three Dell P1424H Portable Monitors with only USB-C connection cannot be operated simultaneously via this dock.
According to my research, the offers are for the same product. The other offer (32398246) is currently no longer available. I have already requested that the details of the active offer be corrected. The cable is 0.8m and according to the manufacturer it has 18 ports. There was nothing to be seen from the manufacturer regarding the version. It looks like only this model is available. Active offer: CalDigit TS4
Hello,
Indeed, it has the same manufacturer reference (500968).
The product comes from a different supplier, though, hence why there's a difference in the price and the delivery dates. Currently, the following article is more suitable for both price and delivery date:
CalDigit TS4 (Thunderbolt, 17 ports)
Hello,
I was supplied with a German Schuko plug. However, the power supply unit has a cold appliance connection, so you can simply connect a T13 cold appliance cable and then it works :)
Yes, I have this docking station. I run 2 27 inch (2560x1440) displays through a single Thunderbolt (USB-C) cable, which also charges the MacBook Pro. According to the CalDigit website, it would even run an 8K display! https://www.caldigit.com/thunderbol...
No, as far as I know, you can't. What you are looking for sounds like a KVM switch. However, I don't know if these are available for thunderbolt, or only for HDMI/display port and a few usb ports.
