Which mainboard model do you have? Good advice. Do not tinker. Multilayer PCBs are sensitive.

The be quiet Pure Rock 2 (155 mm) is generally compatible with your AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, as it supports the AM4 socket. However, it may not be sufficient for very demanding workloads, as the processor has a TDP of 125W and the cooler is designed for up to 150W. It may be necessary to adjust the fan speed to achieve optimum performance and noise levels. For the thermal paste, you can use an inexpensive option such as the Arctic MX-4 or the Noctua NT-H1. These are known for their good performance and are attractively priced.

Yes, the product already has a thermal paste on it. This is applied at the factory to save users having to apply thermal paste and to simplify installation.

The fan on the CPU cooler has a diameter of 120 mm. The fan is a Pure Wings 2 model, which is designed for quiet operation.

The fan on the CPU cooler can generally be replaced, but it is important to note that the fan clips may not fit as they are often too short. It may be necessary to use special fans or adaptations to ensure a smooth replacement.

The be quiet Pure Rock 2 (155 mm) has a cooling capacity of 150 watts, which is sufficient for the Ryzen 5 7600X. For the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, however, it could become scarce as it has a higher power consumption. An upgrade to the Dark Rock 5 could be useful to ensure better cooling performance, especially if you plan to overclock the processor. The Dark Rock 5 offers higher cooling performance and might be better suited for power-hungry processors.

Hi, no. The backplate is usually included with the mainboard. If I remember correctly, mine didn't come with a backplate either.
I had the one with the 5600x. But should also be enough for the 7600x. Maybe another 2. Fan?
Hi poldervaart0 First time building your own PC? No offence, just wondering if you take everything into consideration when choosing the fan. :) Yes, the fan fits. It is compatible with LGA1700 (socket of your mainboard). If you are interested in other fans from beQuiet, I can recommend their website, where you can check compatibility (you only need the details of the motherboard socket, manufacturer and name): https://www.bequiet.com/de/cpucoolercheck And of course don't forget: - Watt TDP specifications of the fan give you an impression of whether the fan can keep up with your CPU. You can also find the watt/TDP information from all fan manufacturers and usually also in the information here on digitec. - Check the dimensions of the fan -> does it fit in your case? Good decision making and tinkering wished.
Hello yes is with us
Depending on the mainboard, this measures the start-up voltage and speed of the CPU fan. If this is below the parameters set for the mainboard, e.g. in the case of particularly slowly rotating fans, this error message is displayed, preferably on Asus mainboards. This warning can be turned off in the UEFI settings.
The Wakü has its own fan connection, look for the CPÜU fan connection, both are beachriftet.
Yes, it works. If Digitec still supplies an older version without an LGA1700 kit, you can order one free of charge from be quiet!: https://www.bequiet.com/de/contact/lga1700mounting
Paste was already on the bottom of the cooler, but there was a protective film on top so that it wouldn't smear.
According to the Corsair Cristal 280X description, the CPU fan may be a maximum of 150mm - but the Pure Rock 2 is 15.5cm high. This could lead to a dent in the case - a bit risky... maybe one of the following fans: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/cpu-kuehler-29?bra=73&opt=v1477-858%3A0.135&rsl=9-11004%3A1.5%3A15&tagIds=76-526
At first glance, one would quickly say: YES. After all, the Core i7-9700K has socket 1151! That should fit according to the Digitec specifications. My tip: to be on the safe side, check the motherboard check directly at BeQuiet. Because not only the processor is decisive, but also your motherboard. Here is the link: https://www.bequiet.com/de/motherboardcheck. Enter your values and all coolers are listed below. The page shows whether the installation is problem-free, whether the RAM banks can only be used to a limited extent or whether it doesn't fit at all.
Dear Leon Yes, thermal paste is applied directly to the radiator. Greetings Smartbit
Yes of course AM4 socket ;-)
The problem is probably more to do with the heat-conducting paste, which after 6 years no longer has the same lust. (Or too much dust) (Or airflow in the case is bad) --> makes a lot of difference! But yes, this thing is easily able to cool the CPU... Should also be more or less quiet... that's more the problem... not that it runs cool enough. With my i7 with 65W TDP is actually nothing to hear. Of course, you have a little more with 84W, but if you don't overclock it to the sky, it should run without any problems.
Which intel cpu?
yes and of good quality
