A thin layer of thermal paste is usually already applied to each CPU cooler. However, it can't hurt to have a small tube (of a better product) in reserve.

Hello. So it seems a bit tight to me: Pure Rock: Maximum cooling capacity (W TDP) 150 i9-9900k: Power dissipation (TDP) : 95 W in stock, if you tighten the clock screw there, it can be tight: https://www.anandtech.com/show/13400/intel-9th-gen-core-i9-9900k-i7-9700k-i5-9600k-review/21 Greetings Cage

This is already a medium-sized box. There should be no problem installing it. But the noise, however, often depends on the sound insulation of the box. Replacing the quieter fan does not improve the problem much.

If the TDP limit (105 watts) is not deactivated in the BIOS or the AllCore Turbo is activated, the cooler with a maximum heat dissipation of 150 watts is sufficient. But since you usually want to take advantage of such an expensive processor, I would recommend a more powerful one.

The cooler should not protrude beyond the RAM slot. If the fan is in the way, you can simply mount it a few ribs higher. of course, this reduces the cooling capacity somewhat.

Yep, it works perfectly. It also has a great price/performance ratio. However, you should not expect too much cooling power if you want to overclock the CPU. Which I assume is the case since you chose a "K" model. If you're aiming for the 5 GHz mark, I'd recommend the big brother. be quiet! Dark Rock PRO 3 (16.30cm) I hope I was able to help you.
