The FRITZRepeater 3000 AX can be set up to extend your Wi-Fi signal from a router downstairs to upstairs, enhancing the signal strength and coverage. ### Compatibility This repeater is compatible with all wireless routers that support the Wi-Fi standards 802.11 ax, ac, n, g, and a, so it will work with your sunrise router, not just Fritz routers. ### Connection Method The FRITZRepeater 3000 AX can connect to your existing Wi-Fi network wirelessly. However, it also offers the option to connect via a LAN cable if you prefer or if your setup requires it. This is known as the LAN bridge operating mode, which can be useful if you have existing network cables or powerline adapters. ### Operation The repeater connects to your existing Wi-Fi network and rebroadcasts the signal to increase the coverage area and improve the speed and stability of the Wi-Fi network.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any information on this. However, after watching a few YouTube videos, I can tell you that it is approx. 0.5-1 m.

It depends if you use it in pure wifi mode (fritzbox -> wifi -> 3000AX -> wifi -> PC), in which case the latency depends on the distance between the Fritzbox and the repeater, generally between 2 and 40 ms). In LAN mode (fritzbox -> LAN GB -> 3000AX -> wifi -> PC), it's between 2 ms and <1ms, in fact like a direct wifi connection to the Fritzbox.

Yes, the router can be used with all common routers. Please note that the mesh function can only be used with Fritz!Box routers.
