Questions about ASUS Zenbook S 16

I'd wait for a bit. For me: - wifi/basics/GPU/speaker work - Keyboard backlight fades in/out continually, changing only works when rebooting from windows. - Some stability issues - Bluetooth needs a kernel patch. (Archlinux, kernel version 6.10.2 - 6.11-rc2) Given that Asus seems like the only one with Laptops with Ryzen AI processors yet it might be worth waiting a bit unless you want to be along for the ride.

Depends on your CPU settings - at full power, it gets pretty hot! But I almost always use the CPU in whisper mode (still more than enough power) and everything is fine! This makes the Zenbook very flexible; from "cruising" in whisper mode to "full power" mode, everything is easily adjustable - a really very good, very light and high-quality notebook!

The display on the Zenbook S 16 is indeed an OLED screen, although this is not explicitly mentioned in all the product descriptions. The technical specifications available indicate a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, which is typical of the OLED screens used by ASUS in this range.
