Questions about ASUS WL-Router RT-BE88U

Can this router use the SFP+ port for WAN and use the XGS-PON fiber connection with Swisscom & Sunrise to avoid their basic router ? Or we are forced to use the official router and define the DMZ port for the Asus router ? Maybe there are some VLAN ID tagging on the WAN (SFP+) port ? Thank you :-)

I'm curious to see whether the router rocks on a Fibre7.

For Fiber 7 customers with 10GB Point to Point. Order the SPF+ module incl. the fibre optic cable from Init 7. Then do the basic setup (Quick Setup Guide) Unfortunately, the 10GB LAN port is configured as WAN and the SPF+ as LAN, which is unfavourable in this case. We have to reverse this. To do this, we need to activate remote access under Settings => System settings in the ASUS Router app. Unfortunately, this requires the Internet, which the router does not yet have at this point. Is it possible to switch off the WiFi on the router? (Press the WiFi button to switch the WiFi signal on or off) as with the ASUS RT-AX88U

Does it work with 2.5GBit on the Sunrise Connect Box 3? Does anyone have this running?

Can you use the part with Fibre7 from Init7 as a modem for 10Gb?
