The water cooling system is compatible with the LGA 1200 socket, including the black version. The LGA 1200 socket is officially supported for the ROG STRIX LC III 360 ARGB LCD water cooling system from ASUS, as are other Intel sockets (LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1700, 1851) and AMD sockets (AM4, AM5) [manufacturer data]. The colour (black or white) does not change the compatibility of the sockets.

The article is compatible with socket LGA 1851. Thank you very much for pointing this out. We will be happy to pass this on internally to the responsible department and hope that this will be adjusted promptly.

According to the information available, the water temperature cannot be read out directly via Armory Crate. The software allows the CPU temperature, voltage and fan speed to be displayed and the LCD display to be controlled. There is no indication of a corresponding function for the water temperature itself in the data provided. If you are unsure, I recommend consulting the ASUS community.

I was able to carry out a search and you actually did everything that can be done on site. So without having the system physically in front of you and being able to test it, technical support is unfortunately impossible. Perhaps someone can share their experience with us where this cooler can be used successfully in the software. I would also recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly, as they usually know about such errors before anyone else and can provide assistance. Otherwise there is our Community itself, where you can address a wider audience: Digitec Community
