External power supply unit is included. CPU cooler is not. An AMD Wraith Stealth fits if you take off the bezel. Otherwise, I can recommend the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4.

With which BIOS? Ryzen 5 5600G running without bios update? (11/2021). Would like to switch from NUC, but if I had to buy a second cpu, that would be a no-go.

In the meantime Digitec delivers with Bios 1.7 (was on my new bought on 30.12.2021 and Ryzen 5700G has accepted the Bios at the first go)

The DeskMini X300 arrived today, but I don't have the APU for it and the 4750G is not available for order at digitec. What is the cheapest way to get a Renoir ASAP? I have no way to pick up a package myself in Jestetten, for example. I would be very grateful for a tip.

Wasn't it possible to report incorrect data somewhere before? The x300 only has one M.2 in the sense you would expect when you write 2 x M.2. The second is a slot for WiFi. If you write 2 X M.2, then you somehow expect two of the same M.2.

You can report/adjust incorrect data by scrolling to the bottom of the specifications and clicking on the "Edit specifications" button or by pressing the key combination Ctrl+Shift+E. The team responsible will then check the adjusted data.

ASRock released Bios V 1.70 on 2021/7/5. New sold Units should be with that.

No, there is no operating system preinstalled. I use Siduction, a Debian rolling release, on the Deskmini. It runs great on it.

Is a CPU fan included with the Deskmini X300 or not? Volume is not the primary criterion.

Is DDR4 SDRAM really necessary for this barebone or can I also use regular DDR4 RAM? As long as the same form factor of SO-DIMM 260 pin is kept, I don't know the difference.
