It was exactly the same for me. Display with Schuko plug. The problem is that the power cables are permanently installed in the Studio Display. The only solution is to use an adapter. Or how I did it: Complain and send it back.
That's possible. Think of it like the extra ports on your display are an extension of the ports on your Mac. That's what Apple's specs say: "Three downstream USB-C ports (up to 10Gb/s) for connecting peripherals, storage, and networking".
We work with daily prices as we co-operate with various suppliers who offer us different conditions. This enables us to keep the delivery capability and availability of our products at a high level at all times.
If it matches with other Apple codes I know, the only difference is that models with "SM" in the manufacturer's article number are for Switzerland, and those with "D" are for Germany. The visible difference should be the cable - T12 Swiss or "Schuko" with external adapter. To confirm, it may be best to contact digitec directly.
I was supplied with a CH cable. However, this does not mean that this is always the case. I have also received goods with the adapter although it was not written. ZYXEL, for example, should actually be a CH product with a CH cable.
"Slight signs of use" usually means that the original packaging has been removed and there are no visual defects. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any photos.
Hi, my monitor had the German schuko plug + a CH Typ12 adapter included.
Once inserted, the adapter can no longer be removed.
The T12-C13 cable can be used once the original Apple cable is removed, but I don't think this is a good solution, given the price of this monitor!
Yes, that is correct. The Apple Studio Display Standard (5120 x 2880 pixels, 27") does not have an HDMI port. It has a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port and three other USB-C ports, but no HDMI connection.
that's not a problem at all, I also have an Apple MacBook and even 2 Studio's connected, note that with each one separately with a thunderbolt 4, bandwidth. Thunderbolt 4 ports have a bidirectional bandwidth of 40 Gbps (gigabits per second). This means that data can be quickly moved to and from external data storage, and that connecting up to five Thunderbolt devices allows for flexible device configurations - all through one port.
The article 19987123 is the German variant with EU plug and the article 19818105 is the Swiss variant with CH plug. Other than that, they share the same specs.
Hello Cyrill. I have an Apple Studio Display Tiltable. There are 3 types. Height-adjustable (the base is already attached), or just tiltable (base also already attached), and wall mount (also already attached). Depending on the model you order, you will receive the appropriate model. However, the wall bracket model does not include a stand as it is mounted on the wall.
Yep, that happened to me too. But later I found the word "Vesa" somewhere in the description. Mistakes are inevitable if it's not mentioned more clearly!
In this case, please contact our customer service directly so that this can be checked and you can be helped accordingly.

According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, this model is an EU model and does not come with the original CH cable. If possible, we will provide a cable and otherwise an adapter for the power connection so that it can still be used in Switzerland. The CH variant with the Swiss power connection in the original scope of delivery is the following offer:
Apple Studio Display Standard & tiltable stand
Unfortunately, I cannot predict the year of production of the delivered model. I was also unable to find a newer version than this one from the manufacturer.
Hello everyone
I also bought an Apple Studio Display, ordered it from Digitec.ch and it produces a great picture.
However, I have noticed something that bothers me a little: If you look at it from the side, it has a red cast. I have a new iMac next to it and it also has no colour cast when viewed from the side. The display was not supplied to me with the Swiss plug, but with the EU version. The adapter wasn't included either. So I went to FUST and bought an adapter... Can the red tint be related to the adapter? I searched the whole Internet, but nobody had such a problem.
Years ago I had a cheap Samsung and the picture was yellow in the side view.
Do any of you have any good advice?
Thank you very much and have a good day.
I bought this product a few days ago. Shipping took quite a long time and now I understand why: it doesn't have a Swiss plug, it comes from outside Switzerland. I have read several questions on this topic here at digitec. I bought the most expensive display variant just to have the Swiss plug. Doing nothing instead. The thorn is weird, never seen anything like it before. I don't even think it's a shuko. When I placed my order, a T12-C13 cable was automatically added to my cart. However, it was not included with the monitor. Can anyone tell me which adapter is the right one for this? Is this T12-C13 cable the right one? Looking at the photos and comparing them to the plug, it doesn't seem like it, but it could be.
Hello Galaxus Community,
I recently purchased the Apple Studio Display and am having trouble matching the colours between the new monitor and my 2017 iMac 27 5K. Despite using the default colour profiles and creating several custom profiles, there is a noticeable difference in the colour output. The iMac's display appears slightly purple/pink tinted, while the Studio Display shows a slight green tint.
Has anyone had similar issues with their displays? What steps have you taken to fix this colour difference? Are there any special settings or tools that have helped to better match the colours?
Thank you very much for your help!
