The contact part (cushions) is magnetised and can be removed, allowing better ventilation and drying if necessary. I've never had 'wet' ears, but more a condensation effect.

Hello! The Airpods Max definitely have better sound quality and battery life, but that's about it. They are also a bit heavy, which can lead to injuries in the ear area after wearing them for a long time. The only downside of the Airpods Max is that they are not really sweat-proof. The cushions smell strongly when worn during exercise, and I don't think washing the cushions helps to eliminate the odour. The Airpods Pro are also great.
