I assume so, but you will need a usb-a to usb-c adapter.

It does not need an external power supply - it works with the adapter alone. greetings ju
I don't know, whatis MAC ? ;-), somehow it didn't work with Windows either, but that's probably more my problem.
2.5″ or 3.5″ IDE and SATA hard disks can be connected.
