If I take the battery out and the device gets power, does it start automatically? I currently have a Huawei E8372 LTE data stick in the car that switches on as soon as I start driving and I have Wi-Fi in the car. Now I would like to use 5G and I'm looking for a compact router that starts automatically as soon as it receives power.

A repeater should theoretically not be a problem, but the WLAN on the device is very poor. It has about 10% packet loss. It only works well via cable (via the Ethernet port). I recommend deactivating the WLAN and connecting a separate WLAN router to the Ethernet port. The WLAN repeater can then also be operated together with the separate WLAN router.

the battery in my Acer Connect M5 seems to be inflated. The device no longer sits on its feet and can be turned very easily. Has anyone else had this problem and sent it back to Digitec? Thank you!

The Connect M5 has been running continuously for the last three weeks without any problems. Since this morning, the connection light has been red, i.e. there is no connection any more. When I switch the device off and on again, the connection works for two minutes. I have already restarted the Connect M5 several times, removed and reinserted the SIM and reset the device. Unfortunately, it still does not work. Has anyone had the same problem?

In addition to the 2.4 GHz WLAN, a 5 GHz WLAN can be activated, which is logically faster. Now, however, the 5GHz WLAN switches itself off every now and then for a short time, so that all connected devices connect to the 2.4 network. It wouldn't be a big deal if the VPN connection in the HO wasn't interrupted every time because of this. Does anyone have the same problem or know the cause?

I believe that this is possible regardless of the provider, if they release the corresponding bandwidth (according to the subscription price). the subscription price. Please first compare the field strength of the corresponding provider at the place of residence, Ev times a device with sim card of the provider with Max field strength, or let assure that there is enough field strength. it also depends on whether in the N-S-W-East (simply walk around the house and observe most of the reception lines, then look for the best installation site in the house. I use a DWR2101 from Dlink in the craft room in the neighbouring house, but I have better reception conditions there. The Connect M5 is fast, give real 5G speeds, depending on the conditions of your network. ( hundreds of MBPS ) But I returned it because it randomly disconnected during the nights and I had to restart it on mornings, As I need it for work that was not acceptable. For non profesional use, is very good for the price

Is it possible to connect an Apple TV box (Netflix) via the Ethernet connection and simultaneously supply approx. 5 mobile devices with internet via WLAN? (technical question, provided the data performance is there)
