No, this product cannot be used on the PS4. Only on PC, Mac, Raspberry Pi and Nintendo Switch.
You can connect one controller per stick. But you can use several sticks (if several USB ports are available).
The Switch recognises the stick as a Pro Controller, so it should also be able to recognise several.
According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, the following product is for the Switch:

After the first pairing, the stick recognises the controller each time. I use it with the Switch and a PS4 controller.

The black one is significantly newer and also works for PS5 controllers. The red one only offers this up to PS4.

Unfortunately no. I tried all the different methods (with, without cable, pressing buttons in different orders). With the previous standard Xbox One controllers, the pairing is done in 2 seconds.
Simply explained, it is a USB connection with which you can then connect a PS4 controller via Bluetooth. It worked great with my switch, but I don't know how it works with other devices and whether other controllers also work. if it's not enough, I'm sure you can find a video on the net.

that's probably not possible because xbox is microsoft and nintendo doesn't support it. i can't explain it otherwise. better buy the switch pro controller.
Yes, but the Elite 2 (as well as the basic 2nd generation controllers) is also Bluetooth compatible, no need for the Xbox adapter
You can't... This adapter is only for controllers. However, I think there are certainly other Bluetooth USB adapters that are made for this purpose.

This requires software such as DS4Windows or the Steam Overlay.
Unfortunately, I bought this product for an Xbox one controller. For Playstation stuff, I would rather look on the net. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes it is compatible, at least with the latest software version (upgrade possible if not). It's exactly the same as the grey one except for the colour. Hopefully I've answered your question :-)
The 8bitdo stick must have the latest update (the updates can be downloaded from the 8bitdo website and there is a video on youtube showing the process).
Is this product of any use to me if my PC supports Bluetooth or is this a (pure) Bluetooth adapter ?
If your PC already supports Bluetooth, you can connect controllers directly, you don't need this adapter.
This is an adapter for a controller.

I doubt that it works with a Smart TV, even if the TV has Android. In such a case, I would contact support directly, maybe they can make a statement. > support@8bitdo.com
