These wired LEDs are excellent for general applications and experiments in the field of semiconductor light and indication. As a common standard component with a pitch of 2.54 mm, the cathode connection, which is connected to the negative potential, is shortened. Light-emitting diodes must always be operated in forward direction and current-limited to the maximum permissible milliampere value to prevent damage. This can be achieved with a constant current source or an appropriate resistor. LEDs generally feature high efficiency, low energy consumption, longevity, and robustness, as well as directed light emission. Additionally, 25 suitable LED clip sockets for snap-in mounting are included, allowing LEDs to be installed in front panels. Note: Ordinary LED chips must always be current-limited using resistors or constant current sources.
