Product details

Small threads often cannot be printed on a 3D printer. These brass threaded inserts are inserted into the designated hole with heat after printing, providing a stable and secure thread for M5 screws.

Recommended accessories:
A soldering station or soldering iron is required. Here is a selection that is suitable:

  • Yihua 908+ soldering iron 65W adjustable
  • Soldering station 936 / 45 watts / 200 to 480 degrees

Installation instructions:
Position the threaded insert over the designated hole. Use a soldering iron set to the printing temperature of the filament used to press the threaded insert into the hole. Allow the component to cool down.
