Prusa Satin powder-coated sheet steel for MK3 and MK4

With the satin sheet, we are expanding our range of print sheets. In terms of printing properties, the satin sheet falls between the smooth and the textured variants. Its powder-coated surface with a slightly structured, matte finish offers optimal adhesion, especially when printing with PLA and PETG materials. It is fully compatible with a wide range of common and less common filaments, such as ABS, ASA, FlexFill 98A, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and more. The vast majority of materials can be printed without a release layer, such as glue. Polycarbonate prints better on satin compared to smooth and textured sheets. For frequent printing with polycarbonate, a glue layer is recommended to avoid potential damage to the sheet. Warning: Never clean the satin powder-coated spring steel sheet with acetone! This will lead to micro-cracks in the texture, causing the surface to deteriorate over time.
