Polymaker PC-PBT - Natural - 2.85mm

Polymaker PC-PBT is a composition of polycarbonate and polybutylene terephthalate, which means it consists of an amorphous material (PC) and a semi-crystalline material (PBT). PBT is chemically very similar to the well-known PET (polyethylene terephthalate). Polymaker's filament is characterized by good temperature resistance at low temperatures, retaining 70% of its impact strength at -30°C. At the same time, the material is resistant to various chemicals such as lubricants, cleaning agents, and solvents. The printing material is also excellent for painting and post-processing. Polymaker PC-PBT is resistant to hydrocarbons, alcohols, organic acids, inorganic aqueous salts, as well as mild bases and acid solutions. This makes the material useful in contact with many greases and solvents, fuels, and oils.

Annealing: PC-PBT can be annealed through a post-processing process in an oven. This process improves mechanical properties and reduces any stresses in the printed part. We recommend a constant oven temperature of 90°C for two hours.

Applications of Polymaker PC-PBT filament: Polymaker PC-PBT is an industrial plastic used to manufacture components such as sliding bearings, guides, valves, and general housing parts. The material can be found in various household items like vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, or hair dryers.
