Product details

ESD protection in industrial quality Fiberon PA612 ESD reliably protects sensitive components from electrostatic discharge and is ideal for circuit boards, cleanroom tools, and electronic enclosures. The internal conductivity provided by carbon nanotubes ensures a consistent surface conductivity of 10⁴–10⁷ Ω/sq.

Superior mechanical performance: With 10% carbon fiber reinforcement, the filament achieves a tensile strength of approximately 84 MPa in the XY direction (21.5 MPa in the Z direction) and an elastic modulus of about 4,294 MPa in the dry state. The result is stiff, dimensionally stable components for functional applications.

Heat resistance: With a heat deflection temperature of 157 °C at 0.45 MPa, PA612 ESD does not deform under thermal stress, such as in electronics manufacturing.

Reliable and efficient printing: The filament is designed for production and can be printed at speeds of up to 300 mm/s – with excellent surface quality and minimal warping. It is compatible with soluble support materials like PolySupport for PA12.

Structured and dry handling: The spools are vacuum-sealed for dry, tangle-free use and are AMS compatible. As nylon, the material is hygroscopic – therefore, storage in a dry environment and pre-drying is recommended.

Seamless integration: PA612 ESD can be used with any 3D printer that has a full metal hotend (280–300 °C) and a hardened steel nozzle or equivalent. A heated chamber is not required; the heated bed should be set to 40–50 °C, and the fan should be set to 0% for the first layers.
