• Board with 12 slots

Maximum capacity by memory technology:

• UDIMM ECC: 24GB RAM, 48GB RAM
• RDIMM: 96GB RAM, 192GB RAM
• LRDIMM: 192GB RAM, 384GB RAM

ECC DIMM, Registered DIMM, and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already installed or upgrade entirely to RDIMM memory.

Principles of memory configuration:

• The memory slots are organized in groups of 2.
• The different groups of 2 slots do not need to have the same capacities.
• Only the memory slots with the respective CPU present can be utilized.

Memory configuration for good system performance:

• Distribute the memory evenly across the memory slots and evenly across the CPUs.
• If more than one CPU is present, the memory should be identical (mirrored to the other CPU) for each CPU.
