Information on memory configuration: Our memory team is happy to assist you in choosing the right RAM and configuring your server. The following technical details should be considered in advance:

• The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel.
• You can use RDIMM memory or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is recommended when large memory capacities are needed.
• Registered DIMMs and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already installed or completely upgrade to either RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Higher memory frequencies may adjust to other memory clock rates in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
