O-rings a bit thicker?
If we were to use the standard 1.6 mm thickness for UV O-rings, as is common with 1/4" threaded grooves, the seals would sit perfectly in the groove when tightening the connection and would disappear. However, since we want to highlight the O-rings as a special modding effect, they are made slightly thicker. The sealing remains 100% effective! However, the O-rings now protrude a bit outward and are very visible under UV lighting.
