The K-3 Ill is a very good SLR camera and is state of the art. It also has typical Ricoh qualities such as the robust and sealed housing and the extensive customisation options. One drawback is its fixed monitor. The monochrome version of the K-3 III is an interesting and, above all, more cost-effective alternative for photographers who prefer to use SLR technology for high-quality black and white shots.
