For non-contact and contact speed measurement. The tachometer can be used for either non-contact or mechanical contact measurement. The digital tachometer PCE-T236 is particularly suitable for measuring speeds and velocities in rotating machines and systems, such as conveyor belts, motors, and belt drives. The measurement can be performed either non-contact using a reflective mark attached to the rotating part or with one of the included mechanical adapters with a measuring tip or measuring wheel. The tachometer features a switch for four selectable measurement ranges as well as for minimum and maximum memory. In addition to its use in all sectors of industry, this handheld tachometer is also employed in corporate and institutional research and development.
