The LUMIX DMW-DMS1 is an all-in-one microphone for any recording scenario. The DMW-DMS1 is designed for creatives and professionals who desire uncompromising audio quality without complexity. Whether filming a travel vlog in a bustling city, recording an interview in a quiet studio, or capturing the excitement of a live event, this microphone adapts to all needs. The DMW-DMS1 is compatible with the LUMIX S1II, S1RII, S1IIE, S5II, and S5IIX (firmware must be up to date). Compatibility with the GH7 and G9II models is planned for the future. It features a wireless hot shoe connection, intuitive physical switches, and has a compact pocket size of approximately 73.7 x 45 x 63.7 mm with a weight of about 100 g. Compatible cameras for this function (as of February 2026) include DC-S1M2, S1M2ES, and S1RM2. The firmware must be updated to the latest version.
