Battery grip for extended shooting time. Compatible with the LUMIX S1RII (DC-S1RM2). By using two batteries, one in the camera and one in the DMW-BG2 battery grip, the available battery life is doubled for longer shoots. The battery in the DMW-BG2 can be changed without having to turn off the camera. In power-intensive shooting modes, the batteries of the LUMIX S1RII and the DMW-BG2 supply power to the camera simultaneously, allowing for more dynamic shots without external adapters or cables. The DMW-BG2 offers the same grip and operability as the camera body. Equipped with a shutter button, a control dial, an 8-way joystick, and more, it enables intuitive operation even in vertical shooting positions, just like in horizontal orientation.
