Am MFT-Sensor entspricht das 42,5-mm-Objektiv einer 85-mm-KB-Optik. Offen liefert es in der Bildmitte eine gute Auflösung und einen ordentlichen Kontrast. Auch wenn das Objektiv kein Schnäppchen darstellt, ist es jeden Cent wert. Die extrem hochwertige Verarbeitung sowie das haptische Gefühl während des Umgangs mit dem Modell setzt sich auch in der Bildqualität fort. Zudem ist es bei der Portraitfotografie sowie für den Anfänger als auch Profi mehr als geeignet.
Dass offen das Objektiv natürlich auch Schwächen aufweist, sollte niemanden verwundern aber dafür fallen die Werte dennoch mehr als ordentlich aus. Ab der dritten Blende sind aber keinerlei Fehler mehr zu erkennen und die Auflösung ist konstant gleich hoch. Dass das Leica dabei sehr gut verarbeitet ist und sich sehr gut bedienen lässt, sollte ebenfalls bei einem derart hohen Preis klar sein.
Das Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 1.2/42.5mm Asph. überzeugt im Test auf ganzer Linie. Die Festbrennweite erklimmt den ersten Platz der Bestenliste, punktet mit einer fantastischen Auflösung und einer enormen Lichtstärke. Der Preis für die beste Festbrennweite am Micro-Four-Thirds-System ist jedoch happig.
Das neue Objektiv arbeitet sehr schnell und ist dabei auch recht leise. Die Maße sind zwar nicht gerade kompakt aber dennoch liegt es bei der Arbeit gut in der Hand. Durch die hohe Lichtstärke sowie die exzellente Verarbeitung macht es einen sehr guten Job, wobei man sich das Gerät auch leisten muss.
