...Auch die Ausstattung ist zwiespältig zu betrachten, so fehlt eine optische Zoommöglichkeit im Videobetrieb, aber auch eine manuelle Weißabgleichsmöglichkeit haben wir, trotz der recht zuverlässigen Automatik, vermisst. Punkten kann die Olympus hingegen mit intelligenter Automatik, Panoramamodus und Intervallaufnahmefunktion...

Einsteiger finden sich mit dem Konzept der Olympus SP-800 ZU gut zurecht und behalten die Übersicht dank nützlicher Bildassistenten, die die Auswirkung verschiedener Einstellungen direkt vergleichen.

...Besonders lobenswert ist dagegen der zwei Gigabyte große interne Speicher. Olympus hat hier sogar die PC-Software installiert, auf die Sie nach dem Anschließen der Kamera an den Rechner zurückgreifen können. Vorbildlich!

Noch eine „All in One“-Kamera – diesmal allerdings leider ohne Sucher. Die SP-800UZ hat wenig Bedienelemente, viele Einstellungen erfolgen demnach im Menu. Das 30-fach Zoom (28-840mm bei KB) ist in punkto Brenmnweitenbereich kaum zu toppen. Der Bildstabilisator leistet gute Arbeit bei der Hyper-Brennweite 840 mm, dennoch ist ein Stativ bei dieser extremen Brennweite immer eine sinnvolle Ergänzung.
