Product details

The use of 50/125µm fibers in OM3 quality allows for greater distances to be covered at high transmission bandwidths (starting from Gigabit Ethernet). For example, with 1000Base-SX, a distance of 900 m is possible, compared to 550 m with "standard" 50/125µm fibers (OM2). For 10GBase-SR, OM3 enables a distance of 300 m versus 80 m with OM2. Cable construction: Duplex cable I-VH 2G 50/125µm OM3. Halogen-free and flame-retardant outer sheath. Sheath color: Aqua (turquoise). High tensile strength due to aramid fibers. Terminated with high-quality connectors (ceramic ferrule).
