The NF-A4x20 5V PWM is a special 5V version of Noctua's highly optimized quiet 40x20mm premium fan, which is controllable via PWM. It utilizes the AAO frame system and advanced aerodynamic design features such as Flow Acceleration Channels. The custom-designed NE-FD3 PWM IC with integrated Smooth Commutation Drive technology, along with the reference-class SSO2 bearing, ensures excellent smoothness and outstanding long-term stability. Modular cabling, the OmniJoin adapter set, and a 6-year manufacturer's warranty make the NF-A4x20 5V PWM a premium solution for demanding 5V applications with PWM control. As a 5V fan, the NF-A4x20 5V PWM cannot be operated with 12V. Connecting it to common 12V power sources, such as fan headers on PC motherboards, will result in damage to the fan.
