In his quest to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom, Krankfried Bowser is compelled to swallow a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to start sucking everything in his vicinity, including Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. Will the Mario brothers be able to rescue the princess and escape?
Players control two separate storylines on their Nintendo DS. On one side, Bowser tries to prevent his arch-nemesis from taking over his castle.
Meanwhile, the shrunk-down Mario and Luigi must face various challenges inside Bowser's body and keep their cool to find a way out.
