Product details
NinjaFlex Filament
NinjaFlex is a revolutionary filament for 3D printers, specifically formulated as a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to produce flexible prints with elastic properties. The patented technology enables smooth feeding and clean, high-quality print parts. The unique flexibility of NinjaFlex and its seamless feeding allow you to design in ways you never thought possible.
Best suited for:
- Fused deposition 3D printers that use 1.75 mm or 3 mm filament.
- 3D printers that can process other types of filaments such as ABS and PLA.
Features:
- Shore hardness of the filament is approximately 85A.
- Consistent diameter and material properties ensure reliable, high-quality prints.
- The patented technology allows for smooth feeding.
- Low stickiness and low CoF on the outside enable smooth feeding through filament guides.
- High elasticity and excellent abrasion resistance.
- Outstanding build platform adhesion and layer bonding.
- Compliant with REACH and RoHS directive 2002/95/EC.
- 1.75 mm filament spool = 0.50 kg.
- 3.00 mm filament spool = 0.75 kg.
- Recommended extruder temperature: 210 - 225 °C.
- Recommended platform temperature: 30 - 40 °C.
FAQs
What types of extruders work with NinjaFlex?
Extruders that use a spring-loaded roller bearing to apply pressure against the drive wheel of the extruder. Due to its flexibility, the filament must also be supported between the exit from the drive wheel and the entry into the melt chamber.
Is it necessary to coat the build platform with Kapton® tape or hairspray?
NinjaFlex adheres well to most surfaces (including aluminum and glass), so coating the build platform is not required.
