Der Netgear R7800 ist ein sehr schneller Router, der fast durchgängig hohe Datenraten liefert. Auch für ein großes WLAN ist er optimal geeignet, bei passenden Gegenstellen spielt er auch die MU-MIMO-Funktion überzeugend aus. Das Konfigurationsmenü könnte ein wenig Feinschliff vertragen, es bietet aber umfangreiche Funktionen.
MU-MIMO funktioniert in der Praxis tatsächlich. Aber die Technik zeigte in unserem Test mit verschiedenen Routern deutliche Performance-Unterschiede.
