Der NEC MultiSync PA242W zeigt zwar nur Full-HD-Auflösung auf 24 Zoll, aber die Bildqualität des AH-IPS-Panels ist im Test exzellent. Ein dreh- und höhenverstellbarer Standfuß und eine praktische Pivot-Funktion sorgen zusätzlich für den Bestwert im Bereich Ergonomie. Die Leistungsaufnahme ist angenehm niedrig, der Preis für einen TFT dieser Größe aber sehr hoch.

Der NEC ist sicherlich für den professionellen Einsatz mehr als geeignet da er sowohl von der Bildqualität als auch Farbtreue das Zeug dafür hat. Zudem besitzt das Gerät keinerlei Schwächen, sodass hier der Profí bedenkenlos zugreifen kann.
