The UPort 1400-G2 series USB-to-serial converters are ideal for laptops or workstations that require an extension of the serial interface. They are essential for computers that need to connect different serial devices in the field or require separate interface converters for devices without a standard COM port or DB9 connector. The computers are also supplied with a USB cable that is fitted with a latch and screw lock to ensure a secure connection between the UPort and the computer. The UPort 1400-G2 series converts from USB to RS-232/422/485 and all products are compatible with legacy serial devices and can be used with meters and point-of-sale applications.
