Moxa MGate MB3170

The MGate MB3170 and MB3270 are Modbus gateways with 1 and 2 ports, respectively, that convert between Modbus TCP, ASCII, and RTU communication protocols. The gateways provide both serial-to-Ethernet communication and serial (Master) to serial (Slave) communication. Additionally, the gateways support the simultaneous connection of serial and Ethernet masters to serial Modbus devices. Up to 32 TCP masters/clients can access the MGate MB3170 and MB3270 series gateways or connect to up to 32 TCP slaves/servers. Routing over the serial ports can be controlled via IP address, TCP port number, or ID mapping. A featured priority control function allows urgent commands to receive an immediate response.
