Product details

Thymio is already used in many schools to teach children playful programming and the world of numbers around us. To program it, all you need to do is assign it a behavior using the predefined language that has already been created for Thymio. The Thymio project is constantly being expanded by an active community from various universities and educational institutions.

Thymio comes fully ready to use right out of the box. You simply need to unpack it without wasting any unnecessary time. To turn it on, just press the round button for three seconds; it's that easy. Thymio has six basic behaviors, each corresponding to a color represented by LEDs. Green for friendly, where it will follow your hand; red for fearful, where it will try to escape from you; and yellow, where it will explore the world around it. Thymio can also follow a line on the ground, respond to remote control commands, or even follow auditory instructions. Thanks to its robust construction, it can easily withstand falls from table height.

Draw, build, invent. Insert a colored pencil into Thymio and let it create patterns on a sheet of paper. Thanks to its compatibility with LEGO, you can expand it as you wish. Your imagination knows no bounds. People of all ages can discover Thymio's potential. At the age of 6, children can start matching images or linking events with actions to program a behavior for their robot with just three mouse clicks. Thymio is an evolution-capable robot that offers various levels of programming, including coding for advanced users.
