RouterOS L4 offers users a variety of settings, including an unlimited number of interfaces, RIP and OSPF, up to 200 PPPoE tunnels, up to 200 active hotspot users, up to 20 active User Manager sessions, and up to 200 PPTP and L2TP tunnels.

The router allows for various use cases and can be set up as a VPN server, firewall, hotspot gateway, and web proxy.
