The MikroTik Cloud Core Router, CCR1072-1G-8S+, is the flagship of the MikroTik router series and features one of the most advanced Tilera CPUs with 72 cores running at 1.2GHz and 16GB ECC DRAM.
Compared to previous models, the Cloud Core series is up to 20 times faster, achieving a throughput of up to 24 million packets per second. The router offers various connectivity options, including 8x 10Gb SFP+ ports and 1 Gigabit LAN port.
The CCR1072-1G-8S+ achieves a throughput of up to 80Gbit/s and features a color touchscreen LCD.
Powered by MikroTik OS, the Cloud Core Router comes with the latest Router OS software and offers the following features:
- MPLS (MultiProtocol Label Switching)
- Routing (Supports a variety of routing protocols)
- Firewall (Configured as a firewall with numerous features)
- Web Proxy (Configured as a proxy server)
- Bandwidth management
MikroTik Router OS License, Router OS is divided into 6 different license levels.
The Cloud Core Router series has the highest upgrade level, which unlocks the following features:
- Unlimited number of EoIP and PPPoE tunnels
- Unlimited number of VLAN interfaces
- Unlimited number of OVPN tunnels
- Unlimited number of L2TP tunnels.
