A Wi-Fi 6 upgrade of the popular NetBox 5. AP/CPE/Point-to-Point – it can do it all: PoE-in, DC socket, Gigabit Ethernet, robust outdoor housing, modern dual-core ARM CPU, Wi-Fi 6 5 GHz wireless.

The NetBox 5 ax is a powerful dual-chain device for outdoor use that can fulfill multiple functions in your setups: AP, CPE, and point-to-point. The strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio features convenient RP-SMA connectors. This means you can add a HGO antenna-OUT for an excellent omnidirectional AP or use the mANT30-PA antenna to create a powerful point-to-point connection for distances of up to 30 kilometers.

This weatherproof board features a modern Qualcomm Maple CPU based on ARM, 256 MB of RAM, a USB port for additional storage or other requirements, and a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in.

The housing is designed to make a system administrator's life easier. It can be effortlessly opened with just one hand. At the bottom, hidden behind a protective cover, are outputs for Ethernet. The housing is equipped with a mounting loop for easy tower or pole installation and also offers a separate DIN rail mount.

As a bonus feature, the good old buzzer has been retained for various alarms or creative outputs.

It is important to note that while longer connections are possible, their reliability may vary. Additionally, the achievable distance heavily depends on the chosen antenna.
